I'm so tired of using Blogger! I'm glad that i'm not going to use it anymore.... or at least I think so. The first few days blogger would get me so mad because I didn't know how to use it and I would try to mess around with it but then I would just end up messing up my blog. To this point I still don't know how to use blogger and I hope that next years class does learn how to use blogger so that they don't go through all this annoying things. I had never heard of blogger and even though I had some problems it has helped me with my writing skills. I personally hate blogger but I still think people should use it because it helps writing skill to go up.

The past 8 weeks
The past 8 weeks at the SRP have been a amazing experience. I got to get a bit of what college life would be and it seems like I will enjoy coming to college. I wish that all my classes are like Henry's class because even though we did work, his class was so freaking fun and I actually saw a improvement on my writing and reading skills. Unfortunately SRP is over and we have to leave Henry's class which I know i'm going to miss.
At the beginning of SRP I really didn't want to be here because I would miss going camping with my friends and I thought that I needed a break from school. A few days into SRP I started to like it and now 8 weeks later I DON'T WANT TO LEAVE.

Which is worse, failing or never trying?
The picture to the right has made me think about which one is worst: failing or not trying? I agree with the picture because many times we are scared of failing and that's why we never try to do something but don't you think you can be proud, if you tried even though you failed? I've heard people say "No, I didn't fail because I didn't even try," To me that's a dumb thing to say because failing is nothing bad, its a part of life. You are not always going to be successful. If your always successful whats so fun about your life? people need to experience both Failure and Success to really understand its meanings. Now its up to you to TRY and FAIL or to NOT TRY and STILL FAIL

Adaptability..My Number 1 Strength!?

Adaptability--People who are especially talented in the Adaptability theme prefer to “go with the flow.” They tend to be “now” people who take things as they come and discover the future one day at a time. When I saw this strength as my NUMBER 1, I was like WTF!!!!!! I am not a adaptable person. I thought about it and I asked myself how can this be my Strength? I have never recognized ADAPTABILITY as my strength, until today I found out...... I'M THE DEFINITION of Adaptability. The reason is because like the picture to the right says "Go With The Flow; Whatever you resist, persists. Take a path of no resistance. Be like the river; live your life in the flow." I like to go with the flow (most things). I hate arguing in other words if you argue your never going to resolve anything. Even if I know that the person is wrong ill just go with what they say because at the end I know what I believe. As the definition says I discover the future one day at a time. I like to take things as they come and I don't really plan things for the future because any day those plans can change. "Today is really all we have. And if we can get through this one day, this one tough day, then tomorrow offers hope for a better day. One day at a time...." -Victoria Lynn
Took some time to realize that but as of today I'm sure that ADAPTABILITY is one of MY STRENGTHS.

The American Dream
My American Dream...... A lot of people have asked me that, but what is THE AMERICAN DREAM? people say "My American Dream is to get a degree, a good job, have a house and a family, nice car, etc.." It really sounds like a dream...........AT the beginning but have you ever thought that all the things that people say Their American Dream is....Everyone in every other country has that dream, yeah i know some people never get a degree, a house a good job, a nice car, but a few people in other countries still manage to get what some people might call their AMERICAN DREAM. The name AMERICAN dream, shouldn't that be a dream that can only be fulfilled in America? why would it be so special calling it the American Dream if it can be accomplished in other places too. I do NOT have a AMERICAN DREAM, I just have a dream like everyone else does.... TO BE SOMEONE IN LIFERobert Frost
The Road Not Taken
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim.
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Robert Frost
I heard this poem in 7th grade. To me it was just like any other poem, but now as a college student and a growing teenager, I look back to this poem. The reason I look back to this poem is because now all the decisions I make today will have consequences for me in the future and might affect me in a good or bad way. What I believe we can get from this poem is that Frost is trying to tell us to not always follow everyone, sometimes its better if you do you, meaning you take the ROAD LESS TRAVELED because that can make the DIFFERENCE in your LIFE !
